Law of Obligations

In Turkish Law, the Law of Obligations, as one of the broadest branches of law, is a branch of law that regulates the rights and obligations of persons towards each other. In general terms, the Law of Obligations is a very broad set of rules that examines and regulates the legal status of the parties against each other, the debt relations between the parties, and the obligations to be fulfilled in case of acts contrary to the debt. The Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098 contains regulations on many subjects such as torts, contract models, rent and sales. The Law of Obligations is a fundamental field that defines the dispute between the parties in the simplest terms and includes regulations for the settlement of these disputes.
