Att. Burcu Sarı Ergezen and her legal team obtain the personal data of her domestic and foreign clients, clients, third parties she is in contact with and visitors to the website, which they provide to benefit from legal services, directly or indirectly, when necessary, through various forms, e-mail addresses, telephone or other convenient methods.

In this regard, Att. Burcu Sarı Ergezen and her legal team process these personal data (data controller) by taking the necessary technical and administrative measures in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and store them for the period and purposes specified in Law No. 6698. The provisions of this Law apply to the real persons whose personal data are processed and to the real and legal persons who process these data completely or partially automatically or non-automatically, provided that they are part of any data recording system.

Article 3/e of the Law. As stated in its article, “Processing of personal data: It includes all kinds of operations performed on personal data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, changing, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of personal data, in whole or in part, by automatic means or non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.”

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected in our law firm is processed for the following purposes;

• The proper execution of attorney service-legal consultancy processes, communication activities with consultants,
• The correct preparation of consultancy offers, legal reports given in the meetings held by our law firm, the correct follow-up of files with official institutions,
• The execution of the information security process,
• The determination and control of signatures, addresses, identity-tax identity and other necessary authorizations of all parties in order to avoid errors in the documents to be shared with the other party during the execution of continuous or intermittent contract-written consultancy processes,
• Providing written and verbal information to authorized official institutions as it is essential for the execution of the service,
• The follow-up of financial and accounting transactions.

COLLECTION – PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL REASONS

Att. Burcu Sarı Ergezen processes the personal data provided to our office with your approval, which is provided verbally or in writing by you in person at the law office, through some forms-declarations-information and approvals on the website (www.bsehukuk.com.tr) when accessed via the internet, in accordance with the principles and rules outlined in Article 4 of Law No. 6698 and specified item by item below, as the data controller.

These principles are;

– Being in compliance with the law and rules of honesty,

– Being accurate and up-to-date when necessary,

– Being processed for specific, clear and legitimate purposes,

– Being connected, limited and proportionate to the purpose for which they are processed,

– Being stored for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or necessary for the purpose for which they are processed.

If you contact us on our website using the information form in the contact section of our website, the name-surname, e-mail and contact number you specify, and other personal information you provide in the form may be collected and processed by our law firm.

 

TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Att. Burcu Sarı Ergezen and her legal team may transfer your personal data to domestic and foreign official institutions and organizations, law enforcement forces, courts and enforcement offices, related third party real and legal persons, service provider companies and their authorities, business partners, banks, suppliers and support service providers within the framework of legal bases and legal legislation, after receiving your approval for the purposes specified in this disclosure text and for the necessary work to be carried out and legal services to be carried out completely, as defined in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698.

 

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your rights towards our law firm as the data controller regarding the protection of personal data as described in Article 11 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data are as follows:

1. a) To learn whether personal data has been processed,
2. b) To request information regarding personal data if it has been processed,
3. c) To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
4. d) To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
5. e) To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly,
6. f) To request deletion or destruction of personal data,
7. g) To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to clauses (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
8. h) To object to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
9. i) To request compensation for the damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of personal data. You can submit your requests by personally applying to the e-mail address on our office’s website. These requests will be met free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
